Meet Kathryn Shih, Business Advisor
Kathryn Shih, is an experienced product manager and business advisor who assists client companies in identifying product-market fit, developing feature monetization strategies, and with go-to-market research and positioning. She has over 15 years of product and engineering experience at Google, Amazon Web Services, and Akamai Technologies, with a focus on bringing novel technologies to market. Most recently, she led the product effort to tune Google’s foundational large language models to excel at security workloads, culminating in the launch of the SecLM model and the Security AI Workbench. In this capacity, she also worked across GCP Security to identify opportunities for AI driven product acceleration. Prior to that, she managed the product team for GCP Security Command Center along with various efforts to improve security and cyber insurance outcomes for GCP users. She has also driven efforts on Android platform debugging and hardening, Google Ads efficacy, and core EC2 platform capabilities. Kathryn holds an MBA from Harvard Business school and a BS in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
